Buformin (buformin)
BUFORMIN (Buformin).
1-Butilbiguanid.
The white crystalline powder. The easily soluble in water and alcohol.
Available in a prolonged form-Silubin ointment (Silubin retard).
Quickly and completely absorbed in the digestive tract, T? at 3-7 h; devoted mainly kidneys.
Applied with type II diabetes, and obesity (in the adjuvant therapy).
Assign inside (while eating) : diabetes, 0.1 grams of morning and evening (if necessary daily dose increased to 0.3 g); Obesity on 0.1 grams per day.
Possible side effects : neuralgia, ketoz, disorders, rarely allergic reactions.
Indications are the same as those of metformin.
Product : Bean ointment to 0.1 g (N. 15, 60).
