Kandesartan (candesartan)
KANDESARTAN (Candesartan).
(±) 1 Benzimidazol-7- H-2-carboxylic acid etoksi-1- [2'- (H TETRAZOL d) [1,1 '- biphenyl] 4-d] methyl] -1-[[ tsiklogeksiloksi] carbonyl] Oxy] ethyl ether.
Synonym : Atakand, Atacand.
The structure (a phenyl tetrazolil- benzyl fragment) is similar to lozartanom.
Compared with lozartanom valsartanom and more active.
When ingestion bioavailability of about 40%, S-max 3-4 h, T? 9-h; biotransformation partially exposed in the liver, bile appears mainly.
Assign inside as a means of antihypertensive 0,004-0,008 grams (4-8 mg), 1 per day.
The maximum antihypertensive effect usually develops after 4 weeks after the start of treatment.
Side effects (headache, pain in the back and muscles, dizziness, nausea, violation of liver samples) are rare.
Contraindications : heavy disruption of the liver cholestasis, breast-feeding.
Product : pills to 0,004; 0,008 and 0,016 grams (4, 8 and 16 mg N) (14, 100).
