KARBOPLATIN (Carboplatin).

     cis-Diamino (1,1-tsiklobutandikarboksilat) platinum.

     Synonyms : Blastokarb, Kemokarb, Paraplatin, Tsikloplatin, Blastocarb, Cycloplatin, Paraplatin.

     The crystalline powder. Mg of the water, almost nerastvorim in ethanol and acetone.

     On anticancer mechanism of action is similar to cisplatin (see).

     Applied with ovarian cancer, breast, cervix and corpus uteri, eggs, eggs, light, bladder diseases sarcoma, mielomnoy disease and other malignant tumors.

     Enter intravenous (within 15-60 minutes) per adult 250-400 mg / m 2 1 every 4 weeks, or 100 mg / m 2 for five days every four weeks.

     Method of issuance : dried powder for injection solutions on bottles of 0.05; 0.15; 0.2 and 0.45 g; 1% injection in vials of 5, 15, 45 and 60 ml.
