KLENBUTEROL (Clenbuterol).

     1-(4-Amino-3, 5-dihlorfenil) -2 - (tert butilamino) ethanol.

     Available as hydrochloride.

     Synonyms : Kontraspazmin, Spiropent, Clembumar, Contraspasmin, Spiropent, Venticil, Ventipulmin and others.

     The structure and action close to salbutamol and terbutalinu; Stimulates V2- adrenoretseptory bronchi and has bronhorasshiryayuschee effect; Moderate also has a direct effect on inflammatory bronchial muscles; Oppressing Oxytocics of the uterus (tokoliticheskoe effect).

     Used mainly as a means bronhorasshiryayuschego in bronchial asthma, asthma bronchitis, emphysema lung bronhospasticheskih different states.

     Applied inside and inhalation.

     To nominate a lengthy therapy for adults and children over 16 years of 0,01-0,02 mg (1/2-1 tablet) or 5-10 ml of 0.0002% syrup 2-3 times a day; Young children in doses of 25 to 10 ml of 0.0001% syrup 2 times a day.

     For the inhalation of droplets grow 4-7% solution of 0,006 clenbuterol 3-5 ml of distilled water and inhale for 5-10 min. The effect until 4 p.m.

     Possible side effects and contraindications are the same as for other B-adrenostimulyatorov (see Izadrin).

     Method of production : tablets of 0.02 mg; 0.0001% and 0.0002% syrup (0,005 or 0.01 mg in 5 ml) for children in bottles of 100 ml; 0.006% solution (0,06 mg in 1 mL).
