DIBAZOL (Dibazolum). 2-Benzilbenzimidazola hydrochloride.

     C inonimy : Bendazol, Bendazoli hydrochloridum, Bendazole hydrochloride, Tromasedan.

     White or white with a little grey or yellowish sheen crystalline powder gorko- salty taste.

     Higher doses for adults inside : single 0.05 grams daily 0.15 g.

     Children are designated (for the treatment of diseases of the nervous system) in the following doses : up to 1 year, 0,001 g, 1-year, 3-0,002 g, 4 - 8 years - 0,003 g, 9-12 years - 0,004 g, over 12 years - 0,005 g. If necessary, repeat the treatment after 3 to 4 weeks.

     Inside are dibazol for 2 hours before eating or two hours after eating.

     Dibazol usually well. It is known that the drug not appoint long as a means of anti-hypertensive elderly patients because anti-hypertensive effect of the decrease in cardiac ejection and possible deterioration of the electrocardiogram.

     Dibazol is also a member of the combined pill : "Papazol (see Papaverin)," Amazol (see Amidopyrine), "Andipal (see Analgin)," Teodibaverin (see Theobromine).

     There are also ready pills containing dibazola and phenobarbital to 0,025 g; Dibazola 0.03 g, 0.25 g and teobromina platifillina gidrotartrata 0,003 g.
