DIMESTROL (Dimoestrolum).

     Dimethyl ether dietilstilbestrola, or trans-3, 4-di (para-methoxyphenyl) - geksen-3.

     Synonyms : Depot-Cyren, Depot-Ostromenin, Depot-Ostromon, Dimethyl-Oestrogen, Ostrastilben D.

     The white crystalline powder. Almost nerastvorim in water and alcohol.

     Relatively with sinestrolom dietilstilbestrolom and has a longer-lasting effect. Long duration allows him less than other drugs of this series.

     Applied inadequate ovarian function. Indications for use similar to those of sinestrola and dietilstilbestrola.

     Enter intramuscularly in the oil 0.6% solution. Dose individualiziruyut depending on the case and the effectiveness of treatment. Usually produce one injection a week for the 12 mg dose (2 ml). At treatment-two-three injections. Step after the first injection is usually 3 to 6 day.

     Contraindications and possible complications are the same as in the application and dietilstilbestrola sinestrola.
