ETOMIDAT (Etomidate) *.

     Ethyl ether 1-(n-phenyl ethyl) -1H- imidazol-5 carboxylic acid.

     Synonyms: Gipnomidat, Radenarkon, Radenarcon, Amidate, Hypnomidate and others.

     Funding for short-term intravenous anastezii.

     Dose 0.2 - 0.3 mg / kg has widespread effects of 4-5 min. Extension effect perhaps by re-introducing (no more than 2 times).

     Apply for induction of anaesthesia mainly short intervention (for diagnostic purposes and in the outpatient practice)
