FANSIDAR (Fansidar).

     Tablets and the solution (in the ampoule of 2.5 mL), containing 0,025 grams (25 mg) pyrimethamine (hloridina) and 0.5 g sulfanilamidnogo drug sulfadoxine (Sulfadoxine) - N? - (5,6-dimetoksi-4 - pirimidil) sulfanilamida.

     Synonym sulfadoxine: Fanazil, Fanasil.

     Apply hlorohinustoychivyh mainly in the form of malaria caused by P. Falciparum, usually in combination with quinine.

     Adults appoint deep in the muscles of 7.5 ml or inside of three pills; Children under 4 years 1-1,5 ml or? pills, 4-6 years, 2.5 ml, or 1 tablet, 7-9 years, 3.5 ml, or 1? pills, 10-14 years old, 5 mL or 2 tablets.

     In tropical malaria impose intravenously or intramuscularly in 2.5 ml usually within 3 days (before disappearing parazitemii).
