MEPIVAKAIN (Mepivacaine).

     Metil-N- 1-(2,6 - dimetilfenil) -2 - piperidinkarboksamida hydrochloride.

 

     Synonyms : Izokain, Mepivastezin, Mepidont, Mepikaton, Skandomest, Carbocaine, Isocaine, Mepicatone, Mepidont, Mepivastesine, Polocaine, Scandomest.

     Metilny analogue bupivakaina.

     Applied in irrigated (0.5% and 1% solutions; Until 0.4 g), epidural (15-30 ml of 1% solution, 10-25 ml of 1.5% solution, 10-20 ml of 2% solution) anaesthesia blockade peripheral nerves (5-40 ml of 1% solution, 5-20 mL 2% solution), therapeutic blockade (iii) (1-2 ml of 1% solution, 1-5 mL of 2% solution), in a dental practice (before 9 ml of 3% solution) and intratrahealnoy anesthesia. A 1-3 h.

     Product : 1%; 1.5%; 2% and 3% solution for injection capsules for 1.7 and 1.8 ml.
