METADOKSIN (Metadoxine).

     Pyridoxine L-2- pirrolidon-5- karboksilat.

     Synonym : Metadoksil, Metadoxil.

     Dezintoksikatsionnoe and gepatoprotektornoe funds.

     Activates enzymes, metaboliziruyuschie ethanol and acetaldehyde.

     Once inside rapidly absorbed, bioavailability of 60-80% T? about 1 hour; being biotransformation, presented with urine and faeces.

     Applied with acute and chronic alcoholism.

     Assign inside and parenteral.

     Inside apply for 0,5-1 g (1-2 tablets), or 15 ml of 3% solution of 2 times a day; Intramuscularly or intravenously (drip), 1 g of 0,6-0,9 times a day.

     Can cause peripheral neuropathy.

     Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

     Method of issuance : pills to 0.5 g (N. 10); 3% solution for the reception inside of one to 15 ml bottles; 6% injection of 5 ml ampoules.
