METILSALITSILAT (Methlii salicylas).

     Methyl ester salicylic acid.

     Synonyms : Methylis salicylas, Methylium salicylicum.

     Colorless or yellowish liquid aromatic characteristic odor. Very little is soluble in water; With alcohol and ether mixes in all relationships. The density of 1, 176 to 1, 184.

     External applied as a general anaesthetic and anti means per se and mixed with chloroform, terpentinnym oils, fatty oils for circulation in the joint and muscle pains, arthritis, glue pleurisy.

     Liniment (balsam) <<Sanitas>> [Linimentum (Balsamum <Sanitas>) <>]. Contains : metilsalitsilata 24 g, eucalyptus oil, 1, 2 g of purified oil terpentinnogo 3, 2 g, camphor 5 g fat pig and vaseline to 33, 3 g.

     Ointments Bom- Benge. (Unguentum Boum- Benge). Contains : menthol 3, 9 g (or mint oil pepper 7, 8 g), 20.2 g metilsalitsilata, medical vaseline 68, 9 grams paraffin medical 7 g (100 g).

     Product type : the aluminium tubes (25 to 50 g) or glass banks (25-60 grams).

     Liniment <<Naftalgin>> (Linimentum <<Naphthalginum>>). Contains metilsalitsilata, analgina and oil naftalanskoy 2, Part 5, a mixture of fatty alcohols kashalotovogo 3 of the fat, emulsifier 13 parts water to 100 parts.

     Product : in bottles of 100 g.

     Kapsin (Capsinum). Liniment, metilsalitsilata containing 1 part oil belennogo settings and peppers on two parts.

     Product : in bottles of 100 ml or 50.

     Liniment metilsalitsilata complex (Linimentum methylii salicylatis compositum). Contains metilsalitsilata and chloroform at 33, 3 grams oil belennogo (or durmannogo) 33, 4 g (100 g).

     Product : in bottles of 50 g.

     Saliniment (Salinimentum). Contains : metilsalitsilata chloroform and 20 grams of oil belennogo (or durmannogo) 60 g (100 g).

     Product : in bottles of 50 g.

     Renervol (Renervol) *. Ointments containing 100 grams metilsalitsilata 0.5 g, camphor 3, 5 g, 75 g etilenhlorida, oil timiana 0.5 g izobornilatsetata 1 yr Used for circulation with rheumatic pain, neuralgia, lumbago, etc.
