SODIUM ARSENAT (Natrii arsenas).

     Dinatrievaya myshyakovoy acid salt.

     Synonyms : Sodium myshyakovokisly, Sodium arsenate crystal, Natrium arsenicicum.

     Clear, vyvetrivayuschiesya crystals in the air and odourless. Mg in water (1:1, 7), very little is soluble in alcohol. Aqueous solutions (pH 6, G-7, 0) are sterilized at a temperature of 100 + 'C for 30 min.

     Applied in aqueous solution for subcutaneous injection (in conjunction with strychnine solution-see Duplex). (The earlier arsenate 1% solution for injection excluded from the range of medicines).

     Solution "Duplex" for injection (S lutio of "Duplex" on injectionibus p r). Water strychnine nitrate solution (0.1%) and sodium arsenate (1%) in 1 ml ampoules.

     Very rarely applied as a general tonic and money.

     Enter adults under the skin, starting with 0.2 mL; Then gradually increased to 1 1 ml once a day; Before the treatment dose gradually. Injections of course, with exhaustion and anemia 20 - 30, rarely 40.

     Higher doses for adults under the skin : single 0.01 g (1 ml of 1% solution), the daily 0.02 g (2 ml of 1% solution).
