SODIUM BENZOAT (Natrii benzoas).

     Sinomim : Natrium benzoicum.

     The white crystalline powder sladkovato- salty taste. Easily rastvo Rome in water (1 : 2), it is difficult to alcohol (1 : 45).

     Solutions are mildly intriguing.

     Inside applied as a means rare in for bronchitis and other respiratory tract infections in powders and solutions (often in medicine).

     Adults are at 0.2 - 0.5 g, children under 1 year-0.03 - 0.05 g; 2 - 5-0.05-0.1 g, 5-to 6-0,15 g 7-9 years - 0.2 g, 10 - 14 0.2 - 0.3 g per reception 3 to 4 times a day.

     Often combined with other inflammatory means.

     Earlier sometimes imposed in veins (15% solution) with abscess light, fever bronchitis.
