Fenofibrat (phenofibrate)
FENOFIBRAT (Phenofibrate) *.
Isopropyl 2-[4 - (4-hlorbenzoil) phenoxy] -2 - Methyl propionate.
Synonyms: Lipantil, Benprofibrate, Elasterin, Fenofibrate, Lipanthyl, Lipidil, Lipil, Lipoclar, Lipofen, Liponat, Nolipax, Panlipal, Protolipan and others.
According to the chemical structure is similar to other fibratami (klofibrat, bezafibrat etc.).
Has lipid properties. On mechanism of the application and testimony is similar to other fibratami.
Assign fenofibrat inside adult for the 0.1 g (100 mg), 2 times a day, before or during the meal: 0.02 g (2 capsules) during the breakfast and 0.01 g (1 capsule) during dinner.
Possible side effects and contraindications are the same as for klofibrata, but there is evidence that patients transferred fenofibrat better than klofibrat.
Form release: capsules to 0.1 g (100 mg) in the package of 50 capsules.
