     Alkaloid sekurinin (C 13 H 15 N 2 O) isolated from the herb sekurinegi bufalus or vetvetsvetnoy [Securinega suffruticosa (Pall.) seu ramiflora (Mull.-Arg.) , Herewith. molochaynyh (Euphorbiaceae).

     In clinical practice using sekurinina nitrate (Securinini nitras, Securinine nitrate).

     Synonym : Securininum nitricum.

     Possible side effects and contraindications are the same as in the application of strychnine.

     Method of issuance : pills to 0,002 grams (2 mg); 0.4% solution in vials of 20 ml (reception inside); 0.2% solution in ampoules and 1 ml (for subcutaneous injection).
