Simetikon (simethicone)
SIMETIKON (Simethicone).
A mixture of poly (dimetilsiloksana) - dimetikona and silicon (silicon dioxide).
Synonyms : Drop Gascon, Disflatil, Saba herpes, Simikol, Espumizan, Disflatyl, Espumisan, Gascon Drop, Sab simplex Simicol.
Gray semi-viscous. Nerastvorim in water and alcohol.

The drug belongs to the group of "foam" - that is, substances that reduce the surface tension of gas bubbles. Used in the manufacture of LS.
As LS found to reduce the use of "foaming" the excessive gastric juice and gasification in the gut and facilitating removal from the gas. If ingestion is not absorbed and passes in his intestines and reduces the surface tension of gas.
Applied with flatulence, reflyuks- ezofagite, aerofagii, irritation large bowel syndrome, as well as in preparing patients for diagnostic (X-ray, ultrasound) study the stomach and intestines.
The drug is available in different forms and in different concentrations : Gascon Drop-in 1 ml of emulsion 0.02 g (20 mg) simetikona in bottles of 300 ml; Disflatil in 1 ml (drops) 0.04 g in 30 ml vials of and chewing tablets of 0.01 g; Saba herpes in 1 ml suspensions 0,069 grams in vials of 30 ml; Simikol-in 0.6 ml (drops) 0.04 g in vials of 30 ml; Espumizan-on 0.04 g of 5 ml emulsion in 100 ml bottles and capsules of 0.04 g.
Disflatil designate the interior of adults 25-50 drops or 0,04-0,08 g (1-2 tablets); Children aged 6 to 15 years on 15-20 drops or 0.04 g (1 tablet) , young-at 10-15 drops 2-3 times a day during or after eating.
Gascon Drop take adults and 1 canteen spoon 2 times a day.
Espumizan appoint 1-2 teaspoon or capsules 1-2 3-5 times a day.
In all cases, bottles of emulsions (suspension) before consumption must shake.
Simikol appoint 0,3-0,6 ml each receive food.
