ETHYL ALCOHOL (aethylicus Spiritus).

     Synonyms : Wine Spirits, Spiritus vini.

     90% ethyl alcohol. A mixture of ethyl alcohol 95% (92, 7), and water (7, part 3).

     70% ethyl alcohol. A mixture of ethyl alcohol 95% (67, 5), and water (32, 5 parts).

     40% ethyl alcohol. A mixture of ethyl alcohol 95% (36 units) and water (64 parts).

     All dosage forms containing ethanol, released only on medical prescription.
